| The Military Division of the Potomac Signal Corps is a brand new living history organization dedicated to preserving the memory of those brave "knights without armor" that served in the United States Army Signal Corps during the Civil War.
The duty of the corps was to maintain long range rapid communications from the highest corps and army commanders down to the lowest regimental commanders. They could be found in trees, on rooftops, on 125 foot towers, and lashed to the masts of sailing vessels.
Today, the The Military Division of the Potomac Signal Corps are responsible for swift and reliable communications at reenactments and living histories where we direct the movements of troops on the field.
We are currently in talks to become a member of the John Fulton Reynolds Society, where we would handle all of that organizations signalling needs, as well as join them three times a year on the first days' battlefield of Gettysburg for living histories.
We will do living histories and reenactments at historic sites such as Antietam, Gettysburg, and at museums and historical societies several times each year.
So, come on board today and help us pay tribute to the men who so bravely served in The United States Signal Corps during the War of the Rebellion! Click on the poster to the left to email us today!
